A Clear Plan, Careful Attention

Triple D Construction began in 2002, after the founder spent 5 years working for the family's construction business before starting out independently — beginning with residential homes and small buildings in Surat Thani, including single-storey houses, townhouses, extensions, and repairs.

In 2006, during a major construction boom on Koh Samui, the team was commissioned to build 13 pool villas for Sabai Resort on the island, using imported materials and international construction standards — the point at which our expertise in modern vacation homes was raised to an international level. This was followed by construction of the Ibis Samui hotel, which gave the team the chance to build up knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems for large buildings, as well as architectural drafting.

After completing the Ibis Samui project in 2009, the team returned to establish a base in Surat Thani and formally registered as a limited partnership on 5 November 2009, to begin taking on work from government agencies such as sub-district administrative organisations, municipalities, schools, and sub-district health promoting hospitals — covering a wide range of work, including building construction, welding, water piping, spillways, and water tanks.

Today, Triple D Construction specialises in large-scale infrastructure work — railway bridges, riverbank protection, and pile driving — with experience as a subcontractor on government projects such as road and drainage work on Koh Tao, riverbank protection on Koh Phangan, a land retention dam in Muang Surat Thani district, and the southern-line railway bridge spanning Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat provinces. We also build vacation homes and pool villas for international clients, particularly in Koh Phangan, where the terrain is mostly hilly and steep, requiring specialised construction expertise.
